Activate only when your opponent declares an attack with a Tribute Summoned monster they control. Destroy all Attack Position monsters they control and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

Pretty good against Neos Steelswarms, but not for much else

Nah it's also good against Vampires, Monarchs, God Cards, Earthbound, etc. Also against strong single tribute cards like Strong Wind Dragon.

Nobody uses those decks. This card is trash.
Broken 🔥 card? It makes Wall of Disruption look like a joke. Whenever I faced someone who successfully activated this on me, I lost. Including a situation where if it wasn't for the 1000 damage I would still win.

I write off anybody who asks that still tribute summon bs as ignorant. Almost your so loved "relevant" decks run level 5 or higher monsters in their main decks.
It works not on Lava Golem but the monster they used Lava Golem as release to advance summon it.

An advance summon is a summon where you summon a monster by releasing a monster on your field. For a level 5 or 6 monster, you must release 1 monster. For a level 7 or higher monster, you must release 2.

Advance summon is the original name of Tribute summon
This card doesn't work against Masked Beast Des Gardius. Stuck on Mission 48

This is still wrong though as the card does not say only works on monsters tribute summoned via normal summomning. Wording needs to be either corrected or this bug fixed.

It's not wrong. It's you who just can't accept a Tribute Summon is not the same thing as tributing for a Special Summon.

Any Special Summons requiring Tributes is always treated as a Special Summon, as Special Summons are acquired through unique means, while Tribute Summons don't require any particular Monsters or conditions and are treated as Normal Summons.
Does this work on Egyptian God Cards like it was intended in the manga and anime?
The anime effect sure is broken but the activation is a bit unique yet complicated.
Maybe like this: "select 1 monster on the field (activate this card from your hand but only the owner of this card can see) then set this card, if that monster is tributed by your opponent for tribute summon and the tribute summoned monster declares an attack, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the attacking monster.
Have to say that this card is bugged. Reason being bugged only works if the monster is "normal" summoned by a tribute not special tribute summoned via a ritual spell or special effect. Shame really

Because that would be called as a Ritual Summon/Special Summon, not a Tribute Summon. There's no bug at all.

I used Tyrant Dragon in a duel against Ishizu, and she activated Blast Held by a Tribute, and destroyed my Tyrant Dragon. According to Tyrant Dragon's effect, it says, "Negate any trap effects that target this card, and if you do, destroy that trap card". How is it possible for a trap card to destroy Tyrant Dragon if he's basically immune to trap cards?

Blast Held by a Tribute does not target.
As a result, Tyrant Dragon is not protected from it, as Tyrant Dragon only negate Traps that TARGETS Tyrant Dragon :)
Didn't work for me again blue eyes white dragon. This card doesn't activate properly

You know that just because there's a tribute doesn't make it a tribute Summon, right? If it worked like that, believe me you would see this card popping up in every Weevil burn deck that ran Lava Golem.

Bingo people don't get this. Now if the card said only works against monster that is normal summoned via tributing then it's a different matter. The fact is it isn't so it's bugged.

That's literally what Tribute Summoned means.
Does this card works against ritual summoned monster?

bugged - only works against normal summoned monsters that are tribute summoning and the wording does not reflect this so definately bugged or the wording needs to be corrected as it does not do what it says it should

Umm, it clearly says "Tribute Summoned" on the card text. It IS supposed to only works on Tribute Summoned monster.
So there's no bug there.

The destroy part will destroy all opponent's attack position monster regardless of how they are summoned, though.

So if the destroy part only destroy the Tribute Summoned monster, then yes, it's bugged.
Is it bad that this card has saved me at least 10% of the games that I would have lost?
